The Glynn County Scholarship Foundation is committed to providing financial scholarships to enhance educational opportunities for graduating senior high school students (public, private, homeschooled) in Glynn County, Georgia.
We believe that every student deserves a chance to pursue postsecondary education through colleges and universities, technical training, and professional trainning and development to realize their dreams.

Tracy L. Pellett, Ed.D.
Executive Director
Dr. Tracy L. Pellett is a first generation college graduate and former higher education professor, administrator, and college president who maintains a residence on Saint Simons Island, Georgia. He previously served as the Provost, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Interim Vice President for Advancement at the College of Coastal Georgia. He left the Georgia coast in 2017 to become the 24th President of Glenville State College in West Virginia. Before his time in Georgia, he held academic leadership and administrative roles at Central Washington University, Minnesota State University-Mankato, and Northern Illinois University. Throughout his 25-plus years in higher education, Dr. Pellett's administrative achievements centered on expanding student access, reducing college costs, and driving enrollment growth.

Stan Robinson
Board Member
Stan Robinson is a prominent real estate professional, property management executive, and former luxury resort coordinator based on Saint Simons Island, Georgia. He works alongside his wife at Robinson Coastal Real Estate, a boutique firm specializing in high-end properties across the Golden Isles. A resident of the Golden Isles for over three decades, he is heavily involved in local youth athletics. He regularly spends his free time coaching youth basketball, playing tennis, and volunteering in community programs.

Kelan Walker
Board Member
Kelan Walker is a proud graduate of Brunswick High School. Kelan continued his education at Valdosta State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Coaching in 2023. During his time at Valdosta State, he competed as a Division II collegiate basketball student-athlete, an experience that strengthened his leadership, discipline, teamwork, and resilience both on and off the court. Kelan also has strong Christian faith that serves as the foundation for his life and purpose. Passionate about serving others, Kelan is committed to making a positive impact in his community by leading with integrity, compassion, and excellence. In addition to his athletic and academic achievements, Kelan is a licensed real estate agent who is dedicated to helping individuals and families achieve their dreams of homeownership and financial growth through real estate. Whether serving clients, mentoring others, or pursuing new opportunities, he approaches every endeavor with professionalism and a servant’s heart.

Cornell Harvey
Board Member
Cornell Harvey is a Glynn Academy graduate, retired military officer, previous HR director for the Jekyll Island Authority, public servant, and political figure who made history as the first African American Mayor of Brunswick, Georgia. Prior to becoming the mayor, he served for 10 years leading the City of Brunswick Commission, prioritizing public safety, affordable housing and infrastructure improvements in underserved neighborhoods, and promoting regional economic development. He has championed educational opportunity in Brunswick and Glynn County for decades, focusing heavily on youth mentorship, statewide scholarship integration, and higher education partnerships. He is an active member of local civic organizations like the Fourteen Black Men of Glynn, dedicated to raising high school graduation rates and expanding college access for African American youth in Brunswick and Glynn County.

Daniel Zeal
Board Member
Daniel "Danny" Zeal is a prominent culinary professional and hospitality executive who serves as the Food and Beverage Director of The Lodge at Sea Island Company in Georgia. Danny has spent over a decade as an acclaimed culinary leader in the region before transitioning into executive resort management. He was nominated by his peers as one of America's Best Chefs and continues to participate in regional charity events, such as the Chefs Classic to combat local food insecurity.
